Tape is the most common type of wrap for wire harnesses, and almost all harnesses have different types of wraps wrapped around the outside of the harness. Tape wrapped around the outside of a wire harness is good for binding multiple individual wires on the one hand, and on the other hand, it is very effective in terms of abrasion resistance, heat resistance, flame retardancy, and insulation. There are various types of tapes and different functions for different types.
